Megan Fox Thought She Might Give Birth to the Baby from 'Twilight'

In today's movie roundup, Megan Fox may have been watching a little too much of the Twilight Saga during her pregnancy. We've also got news on the next films for Josh Hutcherson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Vin Diesel and a trailer for Katy Perry's new movie. Plus, Samuel L. Jackson and Anne Hathaway put together a hilarious video designed to bring you down for the holidays.

Megan Fox's Vampire BabyA woman's first pregnancy is understandably scary try not to be frightened by the prospect of someone using your uterus as an apartment but for Megan Fox, it was like something out of a horror movie.

During her time on Monday's Tonight Show, the 26-year-old actress joked with Jay Leno about the ups and downs of carrying her first child, specifically her brutal bouts of morning sickness. "It was so bad for me actually that I was convinced that I was maybe birthing a vampire baby," said Fox. "Like the one from Twilight ... you know what happens to Bella, where she's in cold sweats all the time. I felt like that was happening because I had no vitamins and nutrients, I was just nauseous."

The physical side effects were just the beginning; the mental deterioration Fox called "pregnancy brain" was something else altogether. "I had it so bad that Brian [Austin Green, her husband] wouldnt let me drive anymore. I would do things with my cell phone like I would go to get th! e juice out of the refrigerator and I would leave my phone or I would be walking around the house yelling, Wheres my phone? and it would be in my hand.

Luckily, we can confirm Fox's son Noah did not turn out to be a moody, sparkly bloodsucker. As for the status of her Swiss cheese brain, someone's got to ask Brian Austin Green about that one.

Samuel L. Jackson & Anne Hathaway Debate What's Worse: Slavery or Poverty and TuberulosisThe holiday season is generally a time of heartwarming good will and cheer, but you wouldn't know it based on the two major movie releases this Christmas. There's Django Unchained, a bloody movie about a former slave trying to reunite with his wife who's under the control of (read: owned by) a dickish Leonardo DiCaprio. Then there's Les Miserables, about a man who goes to jail for stealing bread to feed his family, and a woman who gets fired for turning down her manager's advances and turns to prostitution, only to die of tuberculosis after selling her hair. Not exactly upbeat fare.

But which flick is more of a downer? Watch Samuel L. Jackson and Anne Hathaway debate the issue in a "sad off." They both make compelling cases, Hathaway with F-bombs and Jackson with a gingerbread plantation and gumdrop slaves. But it's up to you to decide.

Vin Diesel Is the! New Koja! kAnyone under the age of 25 probably has no idea what Kojak was (that's what Wikipedia's for), but that makes it an obvious property to reboot for the big screen. Vin Diesel will play the lollipop-addicted detective the late Telly Savalas turned into a '70s icon. Diesel will probably be fine as Kojak, but it's hard not to think the casting choice came down to one simple criterion: He's gotta be bald. Kojak is set to start shooting late next year, and we already can't wait to hear Vin's cut of "Who Loves Ya Baby."They Made a Smurfs Sequel and Here's the TrailerNeil Patrick Harris and his topless blue buddies are back for more money in the sequel to the surprisingly successful 2011 Smurfs movie (can you believe it made $565 million?!). In Smurfs 2 Gargamel (Hank Azaria) creates tiny Burning Man wannabes he calls Naughties. The big plan is for the Naughties to turn Smurfette (Katy Perry! ), the Sm! urfs' prized possession community member, into a bad seed capable of horrible things like squirting chocolate sauce on a waiter and making a ferris wheel go faster. So diabolical.Josh Hutcherson in Benicio Del Toro's Pablo Escobar Movie?Instead of battling a bunch of bloodlusty teens, Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson's next movie could pit him against Benicio Del Toro as one of the most notorious drug lords in history. Hutcherson is in negotiations to play a "young Irish surfer who visits his brother in Colombia... and meets the love of his life [as well as] her uncle Pablo." That Pablo would be Pablo Escobar, the powerful drug kingpin responsible for the brutal deaths of hundreds of Colombians during his rise to power in the mid-to-late '80s.

As much as we're happy for Hutch, the film's focus on his sufer-meets-girl love story seems not only like a waste of Del Toro in a part he feels born to play, but also way less interesting than Escobar's life story. Who knows though, maybe the surfing scenes will be epic. [via Deadline]

First Look: Harry Potter as Allen GinsbergDaniel Radcliffe's a long way from Hogwarts for his next project, Kill Your Darlings. Radcliffe plays poet Allen Ginsberg alongside a solid ensemble cast who will also portray various luminaries of the Beat Generation: Ben Foster as Williams S. Burroughs, ! Jack Huston as Jack Kerouac, Dane DeHaan as Lucien Carr, and Elizabeth Olsen as Edie Parker. The film centers on Carr's murder of David Kammerer and the impact the incident and subsequent trial had on the circle of literary legends in their youth. It's a decidedly darker tale than the first still lets on.
