Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox sued

Actor Brian Austin Green and his wife, actress Megan Fox, have been sued by paparazzi for allegedly assaulting a photographer in Hawaii in December.

Photographer Delbert Shaw was taking pictures of Green, 38, and Fox, 25, on the beach in Hualalai. Shaw then followed them to the Four Seasons Resort when the couple began making verbal threats at him.

This led to an argument between Shaw and the couple. Green then began physically assaulting him while Fox reportedly stood by and cheered. Green then threw Shaws iPhone into the ocean.

The lawsuit is asking for unspecified damages and claims that Shaw suffered serious injury in the beating.

Reps for the couple did not make a statement. They married at the Four Seasons in 2010 after six years of dating.

The case is similar to one involving comedian Russell Brand. While in New Orleans, Brand grabbed a photographers iPhone and threw it. But rather than hitting the ocean, the phone broke the window of a nearby law office.

Brand was arrested and later released on $5,000 bond. He later joked on Twitter that his actions were noble.

"Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iphone irreverently," said Brand. "What I did was a tribute to his memory."
