Lindsay Lohan may find herself once again in a Linda Lovelace situation.

Ace Show Biz reported the 25-year-old actress has been in early talks to play the late Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime biopic about the legendary actresss romantic life titled Liz and Dick.

But now, it looks like the Mean Girls has got some competition from her Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen co-star Megan Fox.

Liz and Dicks executive producer, Larry Thompson, told E! News that while Lohan is being seriously considered and has already been contacted about the role, he has also been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox.

Thompson didnt spill any more details about the casting negotiations, but added that negotiations with several actresses at once isnt an insult to the actresses level of talent.

"It's a very serious selection," he said. "It's like casting for Hollywood royalty."

A source told E! News that Lohans probation status is a complication that needs to be factored into the casting decision-making.

However, on Tuesday, Lohan received high praise for her being able to maintain her responsibilities and meet deadlines. She is on probation until the end of March.

Decisions for the movies cast will be made fairly quickly, as filming is scheduled to begin in the spring.
