Megan Fox Burns Bridges with Speilberg, Bay, and Costars

Actress Megan Fox is again under fire from her former coworkers.

While Fox has claimed that she left the "Transformers" franchise of her own accord and that it was her decision not to appear in the third installment of the series, director Michael Bay is telling a different story.

In an interview for the July issue of GQ, Bay paints an unflattering picture of the actress, calling her unfocused and saying she was "in a different world" or on her BlackBerry during filming.

According to Bay, it was ultimately producer Steven Spielberg's decision to fire Fox. During pre-production on the third film, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," the actress openly criticized Bay, saying he "wants to be like Hitler on his sets" and that he's "a nightmare to work for." Bay says the Hitler comment was a step too far, prompting Spielberg, who is Jewish, to state "fire her right now."

Bay says he's taking the comments in stride and considering the source. "I wasn't hurt, because I know that's just Megan," he dismissed. "Megan loves to get a response, and she does it in the wrong way. I'm sorry I made you work 12 hours. I'm sorry that I'm making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy."

Bay and Spielberg aren't the only movie-makers who have a problem with Fox. The brunette beauty has also drawn the ire of several costars.

Her "Transformers" costar Shia LaBeouf agrees that Fox crossed the line. LaBeouf voiced his opinion to GQ, saying, "Criticism is one thing, then there's public-name calling...! .She sta rted s----talking our captain." Shia had previously defended Fox, saying she was unprepared to be portrayed as a sex symbol in the movies.

Fox's "Passion Play" costar Mickey Rourke also turned on the actress. After months of singing Megan's praise, Rourke changed his tune, calling the movie "terrible." Speaking of Fox, when reminded that he once called her "one of the best actresses of all time," Rourke reportedly smirked and corrected the reporter, emphasizing, "That I worked with." He later apologized for his comments.

Perhaps the sex symbol's harshest critic is "Lost" star and former hobbit Dominic Monaghan. The two appeared together in Eminem's video for "Love the Way You Lie," but when asked what it was like to kiss Fox, Monaghan mustered a half-hearted, "It's alright." He must have noticed the slack-jawed looks, because he hastily added, "It's fine. It's work." Silly hobbit.

We're thinking it's time for Megan to read the writing on the wall. Make nice and keep your negative comments to yourself. Your career won't ever take off if you burn all your bridges.
