Megan Fox is going through a scruff time

The screen beauty cut a scruffy, unkempt figure as she left a restaurant in Los Angeles yesterday.

She looked a mess in a baseball cap, baggy T-shirt, tracksuit bottoms and a sweater tied around her waist.

Clearly opting for comfort over style she rounded off the outfit with a pair of fluffy boots.

The cap pulled low over her face suggested she would probably have preferred not to have been seen in the unflattering attire.

The actress' career has faltered since being fired from the Transformers franchise for comparing director Michael Bay to Adolf Hitler.

Talking about his approach to movie-making, she said: "He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation.

"He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for."

Megan was replaced by British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the explosive blockbusters.

The 25-year-old recently revealed she didn't feel ready to have kids with hubby Brian Austin Green because she doesn't feel financially secure.

She said: "I've always wanted kids. Once I feel safe with money, I'll have them."
